The Near-Infrared (NIR) Camouflage Net is a functional camouflage and concealment product specifically optimized for the near-infrared spectrum (NIR, approximately 700-1200 nm). It is designed to reduce target detectability when observed through night vision devices, low-light image intensifiers, and other NIR reconnaissance systems.
The camouflage net is manufactured from high-strength synthetic fibers or composite materials and treated with near-infrared reflectance control surface processing, ensuring that the spectral characteristics of the material closely match the surrounding natural environment in both the visible and near-infrared bands. This effectively prevents abnormal "bright spots" or "dark spots" when viewed through night vision imaging systems.
The surface features a multi-color combined camouflage pattern, with spectral calibration optimized for various terrains such as desert, steppe, woodland, and urban fringe environments. The structural design balances air permeability and concealment, reducing heat accumulation and minimizing infrared visibility caused by temperature differentials.
The NIR camouflage net provides excellent tear resistance, mechanical strength, and weather resistance, and demonstrates tolerance to fuels, oils, and commonly used detergents. Selected models offer flame-retardant, self-extinguishing, and environmentally compliant properties.
